Bafity's colors are developing slowly, and he looks like he's going to be as handsome as Bafin - his Dad, and our very first baby finch.

Our Second White Baby Budgie

This little guy is just gorgeous! I might be biased, so here are the photographs so you can see for yourself!

Our Tame Baby Budgie

This is the latest budgie to come out of it's nest, and it's still very tame, so we make the most of it by bringing it in and letting it fly around!

Bafity And Bin Are Male!

It's official ... Bafity and Bin are both going to be male finches, and hopefully as handsome as their Daddy!

They're both started to get the trademark orange cheek patches, and brown and white speckles.

Bafity's First Bath!

Bafity decided to have a bath today ... his / her very first one, and Mama was there to teach him how!

It was hilarious to see the little feathers on top of the head sticking out in all directions!

Presenting Bafity And Bin!

As I wrote earlier, Bafin flew away on 28th April, but not before leaving us with two darling little finches ... who we've named Bafity and Bin!

They've just come out of their nest, and are flying around, and they look exactly like Bafin did at their age! It's too early to tell if they're male or female, but whatever they are, they're a little piece of Bafin for us :)

Our Baby Budgie Trying Hard To Come Out Of It's Nest!

One of our baby budgies has kept us on tenterhooks all week ... it keeps trying to come out of it's nest, however it never actually does! Thanks to it's antics, we've been glued to our birds all weekend not wanting to miss out when it actually did decide to come out!

White Baby Budgie

Our white baby budgie is very delicately colored, and has bright red eyes. He's a little funny looking sometimes when he puffs up his feathers, but he's lovely!
