Some More Babies Out!

Today two more babies decided to come out of the nest. One was Ross and Monica's white baby, and the other was Chandler and Beck's little grey baby. What happened after they came out was hilarious though!

Ross and Monica's baby came out, and after initially being pecked and worried by Chandler and Becks, kind of became their baby as they started mothering him/her. In the meantime after staying out for a while, their own baby decided to go into Ross and Monica's nest, and stay there! And he soon got adopted by his new parents and started getting fed by them, and at night even stayed in their nest and didn't go back to his! The white baby though came back to the nest in the evening, so at night there were five of them all cuddled inside.

Our Babies Leave Their Nest!

Ok so for all those who have been following my blog, and saying our babies are not that cute when they're little, have a look at these photographs now! Two of our babies left their nest this morning, and see if you don't think they're cute now!

These two babies seem super smart and didn't need to learn how to fly. They came out of the nest, flew around for a bit, and then went right back in without any problems.

Here are Baby No. 1 and Baby No. 2 after they went back into their nest, along with their other two brothers or sisters.

Big Baby, Small Baby And Egg!

Ross and Monica have two babies, and two eggs. The eggs are long past their hatching date, so we know that they're never going to hatch, but they're still in the nest for now. In the meantime big baby and small baby happily cuddle together. Small baby is about 4 days younger than big baby!

Our White And Grey Babies

Some of our little ones seem to be growing up with milk white feathers, and some of them have greyish black feathers like Bafin had when he was tiny. Of course all the colors will change once they're about six weeks old, so it's hard to tell now what color they will stay, and whether they will be males or females.

This is one of Ricky and Rachel's babies - it's a mix of white and greyish black feathers.

Our Budgies

Our poor budgies don't seem to get much coverage on this blog - well here are some photographs to make up!

We have six gorgeous budgies - two of them are yellow/green, two of them are blue, and two of them are turquoise/green with yellow heads! We have three males and three females.

Our Babies Are Growing

All our eleven babies seem to be growing by the day. The oldest ones are even shakily trying to stand up. Their feathers have grown and they even try and groom themselves with their beaks. Awesome!

Here are some photographs now of Ross and Monica's second baby. As you can see it's much smaller than the first baby. It's also a very well fed baby, with it's crop chock full of mashed peas!

Both babies cuddle up together once they're fed, and here you can see them both snuggled up together.

Here are some photographs of Ross and Monica's first baby. The second one was born about four days later. Baby No. 1's eyes have opened, and the feathers have started to slowly form. The two round looking things on either side of the neck is it's crop ( refer to earlier posts for the explanation of a crop! ) and right now it's green because the baby has been fed mashed peas by it's parents!

OMG - Eleven Babies!

Can you believe we actually have eleven babies, and not ten like we've been thinking all these days?! I happened to look inside Chandler and Beck's nest this morning and instead of counting four beaks, I counted five! Awesome!
