Our Budgies With Their Toy

Our babies have a godmother, and she got them this toy. We initially gave it to the finches, and they had a blast with it till they got tired of it! We then kept it away for a while, and recently decided to give it to the budgies, and boy, did they have a blast with it! They all wanted to play with it, and we soon had a near fight on our hands!

All In A Line!

This scene was too funny ... one single branch, and all four wanted to sit on it! ( Note - there are plenty of branches they could have chosen to sit on! ) They tried it a few times until finally the two winners were left standing!

I hope all of you remember little Chunti?! Here she is, just after a bath with her feathers all fluffed up!

Our Budgie Couple!

Our budgie couple seem to be producing healthy happy babies without any problem! Here they are!

The father is the one on the left.



The mother is inside the nest, while the green one tries to get her attention and woo her!



But no - she's not interested!

Our Green Budgie

This green budgie is the male, and he lost his mate a few months back. She died suddenly in a matter of seconds, and we have no clue why. He pined for a while, but now seems to be ok.

Baby Budgie 2!

Our second baby budgie has turned out to be much smarter than the first one, and kind of looks after the first one ( the white one ) as well. They tend to stick together, but while the white one is happy sitting in one corner, this little guy tends to move around on his own as well!

Here is he/she ( too early to tell! ) grooming itself.
