They've just come out of their nest, and are flying around, and they look exactly like Bafin did at their age! It's too early to tell if they're male or female, but whatever they are, they're a little piece of Bafin for us :)

Presenting Bafity And Bin!
As I wrote earlier, Bafin flew away on 28th April, but not before leaving us with two darling little finches ... who we've named Bafity and Bin!
They've just come out of their nest, and are flying around, and they look exactly like Bafin did at their age! It's too early to tell if they're male or female, but whatever they are, they're a little piece of Bafin for us :)

Our Baby Budgie Trying Hard To Come Out Of It's Nest!
One of our baby budgies has kept us on tenterhooks all week ... it keeps trying to come out of it's nest, however it never actually does! Thanks to it's antics, we've been glued to our birds all weekend not wanting to miss out when it actually did decide to come out!

Bafin Is Gone!
We were out on vacation, and had left the birds with a relative, and while we were away, they opened the cage one day to feed the birds, and Bafin got out and flew away. Sad, sad news - as he was our very first baby finch.
He had two small babies when he flew away, so we've decided to call them Bafity and Bin ( as we used to call Bafin, Bafity Bin sometimes ).

Our Baby Budgie Gets Wet
One of our baby budgies who's still in the nest got a little wet, as it was raining and some water came inside the nest. We took him out and dried him while we dried the nest. Here are a few photos :)

Mad Chunti!
Chunti is still as hyper active as she used to be, but every once in a while it catches up with her, and she tends to doze off!
Here she is all sleepy eyed, and looking for a branch on which to doze off!
